Its a wrap?

Finally after 1 month 1 week of hardcore sai kang, my PA job has ended.
Leap of Love's shoot is done.

Couple of things that has "leveled-up" for me:
1) My tolerance
2) Body strength
3) Endurance
4) Better view of the industry
5) Knowledge base of food in Singapore

Buying 50+ packets of food at least 2 times a day by myself had its ups and downs...
but that aside I've met alot of people... people that is really cannot make it and some pros that i really respect.

Continuing from my last post, i think several more paths has opened itself to me. I was offered a Casting manager job earlier today, and i think without a doubt i will turn it down.

Heres why.
No. 1) Its a freaking office bound job
No. 2) Its a freaking office bound job
No. 3) Its a &%#@king office bound job

No. 4) I had to WAIT FUCKING 7 hours for a 15 minutes chat with the person in charge, totally fine with me if it were a normal situation,
BUT I FUCKING STARTED WORK YESTERDAY @ 3PM YOU WANT ME TO FUCKING GO TO THE OFFICE AND WAIT FROM 12:30pm to 7 PM?!when i could have been helping out art in packing up or better still, at home sleeping?!
FUCK THAT, really, FUCK THAT.

No. 5) I feel insulted by the comments "Do you know you can get a similar torch for $20" by the person who introed me this job, when i showed him the Surefire 6P which i just purchased. He furthered this insult by bringing me to the shop and showing me led bulb torches.
Dude, its a SureFire. Fullstop.

No. 6) I feel insulted by the comments "Will you work for free? ok maybe not but at least you will get intern pay basic". I do not do charity; neither do i want to add another internship slot into my resume. I have more then enough experience and exposure. Serving as an intern time and time again after COMPLETING my DIPLOMA is a direct insult to my school and my level of commitment and professionalism.

No. 7) I've have been offered apprenticeship from Joe to become a gaffer.

Which then brings us to another point. After today i realised something, I want to work in a production, badly. I want to be working on the set. I want to be someone important.

So heres what i'll do, I will approach Joe and ask for his mentorship in Lighting or approach Alan for training in Sound. Either way, I'll spend my last 2 civilian months training.
