And in Today's News...

[Newscaster]
Today, thousands welcomed the latest ruling by LTA, to be implemented in the heart of the island.
As of 1st of March, citizens can no longer hail for a cab off the streets in the CBD area, nor can they phone for a cab to pick them up from their offices.

Yea, i think its a good idea. like that there wont be traffic jam.
[Interviewee 2]
Its great, there're taxi stands all around, so theres no difficulty at all getting a cab within a 200 m radius.
[On scene reporter]
While there are minorities who think it is a bad idea, majority of the people are in fact welcoming this new ruling. This is idunknowwho Channel News Asia, Singapore.

Imagine the benefits/convenience it will bring to the pregnant ladies,
or hey even better on rainy days! enjoy squeezing with 20 other sweaty wet FTs trying to get a cab... wow! thats like totally long term thinking man.

What they said about singapore media is true, I mean its still acceptable for some bullcrap they pull, but THIS?! its like orchestrated to a point when its totally NOT the truth but what they want people to think.

C'Mon, i wasnt even listening to the news on the bus, (earphones on) and i was reading the subtitles and it went something like "You can no longer hail a cab off the streets, cheers". Its like my surname, a total oxymoron...

Then like that cab for what one, cannot hail off the streets. Its like taking a bus at the bus stop.

Digusting. Utterly disgusting.

I hope they can have a good night's sleep knowing that they have sold all their pride and dignity.
